Krista received her PhD in Music Education at the Institute of Music Education of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna on November 4, 2020. Read her dissertation on the left column under Publications: Academic Papers. 2020 Krista gave a lecture on the new ProMiMiC-research project at the Institute of Music Therapy at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) on January 31st. 2019 Krista gave a workshop at The Night of Arts and Science (De Nacht van Kunst en Wetenschap) on the music practice Meaningful Music in Healthcare on June 8th in Groningen, the Netherlands 2019 Krista trained students of the Music Academy of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on person-centred music-making and participatory (community) music practices within the framework of lifelong learning. 2019 Krista gave a workshop masterclass for amateur musicians on how to make person-centred music with people with dementia at the K38 cultural center in Roden, the Netherlands. 2019 New professional practice Meaningful Music in Healthcare was featured in the Dutch TV-programme De Kennis van Nu (Engl. "The knowledge of Now") in the episode "De Kracht van Muziek" (Engl. "The power of music").
